Maintenance of Limassol District highways

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, has proceeded with the signing of the Contract for the project “Periodic maintenance of roads within the municipal limits and District of Limassol” with No. Contract KPS/31/2021/E(A). The Contract was signed on behalf of the Government, by the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works, Mrs. Eleni Kaskiri, and, on behalf of the company “Cyfield Asphalt Co Ltd”, by Mrs. Martha Menoikiotou, Civil Engineer.

Specifically, the Project includes coating specific roads with a surface layer of asphalt concrete with a nominal thickness of 50 mm across the entire width of the roadway, after removing the existing roadway to a corresponding depth, as well as any other necessary works, and coating with a surface layer of bituminous concrete with a nominal thickness of 50 mm across the entire width of the roadway, without first removing the existing roadway on other roads

The implementation of the Project is scheduled to begin in June 2022, with a duration of 20 weeks and a cost of €2,991,660.00 including VAT
