The urban project “Construction / Improvement of Piale Pasia Avenue in Larnaca” with one and a half year duration, was 85% – 90% co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The project was included in the Operational Programme of Sustainable Development & Competitiveness 2007-2013 and began on September 10, 2012 and completed on July 29, 2014. The project consists of the reconstruction and improvement of Piale Pasha Avenue, which connects the area of Finikoudes and the Castle with the Mackenzie tourist area and Artemis Avenue leading to Larnaca Airport, with the aim of unifying the entire Larnaca seafront.
